I have known Marianne for the last 2 ½ years as a member of the Body Corporate of Saltus Apartments, Stonefields, Auckland. I am currently the General Manager, People & Talent at TVNZ and before that held senior HR and legal roles at Telecom New Zealand (now Spark) and Fletcher Challenge Forests. Prior to my legal counsel role at Fletchers I was a litigation lawyer at Chapman Tripp.
In my time working with Marianne she has held the role of Saltus Body Corporate member, Body Corporate Chair, and Building Manager. During her time in these roles Marianne has demonstrated that she is a highly intelligent, competent and talented person with a real passion for building management. Having worked for Telecom and Fletchers with large building management teams I have no hesitation in saying that Marianne is one of the most outstanding and hardworking individuals I have come across.
Marianne has led a number of critical matters on behalf of the Body Corporate including: extensive and complicated negotiations with Fletcher Construction and Todd Property, management of all apartment contractors and suppliers, liaising with building and construction experts on aspects of the apartments, management of numerous repairs to the building, management of health and safety matters including compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and preparation of numerous reports for the residents of Saltus updating them on key information regarding the complex.
In these and all other areas in which Marianne has worked she has shown not only the technical skills required for the roles but also a natural ability to communicate effectively at all levels and an outstanding sense of professionalism and the highest standards of ethics. She has always gone above and beyond what has been asked of her and she has delivered fantastic results for the Body Corporate and the residents of the Saltus Apartments. I have the highest regard for Marianne personally and professionally. I have no hesitation in recommending her to any organisation lucky enough to attract her.
